Three Oaks
Three Oaks is the arts and cultural heart of Harbor Country, a small Southwest Michigan village about 30 minutes from South Bend. Its two main live-music venues share the same historic complex on Generations Drive. The Acorn is a non-profit performance space featuring rock, folk, indie, jazz, opera, open mics, drama, and comedy, housed in a turn-of-the-century former corset stay factory with outstanding acoustics. It produces approximately 80 shows a year. The 300-capacity room draws national touring acts and regional performers, with past bookings including Jeff Tweedy, 10,000 Maniacs, and Alejandro Escovedo. Most shows run Friday and Saturday nights, with an open mic on the first Thursday of each month. Journeyman Distillery began in the historic Featherbone Factory, a 19th-century industrial landmark once home to buggy whip and corset manufacturing, carefully restored into a working distillery producing certified organic spirits. Music comes to the Featherbone Factory weekly on select dates, pairing live performers with cocktails and the venue's putting green.
