Bowling Green
Howard's Club H, on North Main Street, has anchored Bowling Green's live-music scene for decades, booking rock, rap, metal, country, and genres in between. A WBGU-PBS series, Live at Howard's, documented the local music coming out of the club. Arlyn's Good Beer opened in 2020 specifically to give local musicians a steady place to play. It is now the home of Jazz Night, a Bowling Green institution running for more than 35 years. Jazz is featured on Wednesdays, with blues and rock on Fridays and Saturdays. The microbrewery includes a half-acre beer garden. The Cla-Zel Theatre, celebrating its 100th year in 2026, has a new operator who is working to establish it as an entertainment venue for music, film, and community events. The new owner grew up booking bands at local bars and also operates Frankie's and the Ottawa Tavern in Toledo. The city also has Moore Musical Arts Center, Nate & Wally's Fish Bowl, and Needle Hall Stage among its live-music options.
