Fremont's live-music options spread across a few distinct settings. The Fremont Community Amphitheater, at 209 S. Arch St. in the heart of downtown, is the city's most active public stage. Fremont's Community Concert Series relocated here once construction was completed, with admission remaining free. The amphitheater's calendar runs from concerts and family movie nights to special events, drawing local and regional talent all season long. Past schedules have included roots/rock/zydeco acts, jam sessions, and community concert acts such as Terry Davidson & The Gears and Shawn Perry and Vice City. Chateau Winery, a French-inspired winery producing dry, sweet, and fruit wines on-site, pairs a food menu with live entertainment every Friday and Saturday, year-round. MoonShine Nightclub offers live music, DJs, cocktails, arcade games, and themed nights. Jimmy Bukkett's and Shellukes Bar & Grill round out the bar-and-grill side of the local scene.
