Lawrenceville
Owned and operated by the City of Lawrenceville, the Lawrenceville Arts Center is home to Aurora Theatre, the resident theatre company. The theater seats 450 people and its two-building campus features flexible performance and event spaces and programmable outdoor areas. Music programming runs across genres. Live music performances have included Motown and Earth, Wind & Fire tributes, and recent and upcoming concerts on the calendar include a Sweet Baby James (James Taylor tribute) show and Tito Puente Jr. & his Latin Jazz Ensemble on the Clyde & Sandra Strickland Grand Stage, along with Grammy Award-winning artist Durand Bernarr. The LAC also hosts the Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra for regular performances. The venue is consistently praised for the quality of its productions and its intimate, comfortable feel.
