Havana
Havana is a small Illinois River town where live music is mostly seasonal and event-driven. The Stag Tap, a long-running bar on North Plum Street, is the most consistent venue in town. Its Beer Garden on Main features a large outdoor stage for live music, an outdoor bar, and plenty of space to relax. In summer 2019, the Stag added Sunday Fundays with live music in the garden every Sunday afternoon. The Main Room, at 212 W. Main St., is a more intimate space tied to Babe's on Plum. It seats up to 75 people and features a full bar, original high tin ceilings, and original wood floors, making it a natural fit for private events that include live music. Beyond the bars, Havana's Riverfront Park hosts a free concert series on the second Saturday of June, July, and August, drawing regional and nationally touring acts. The Riverfront Art & Music Festival and Havana Oktoberfest round out the town's annual music calendar.
