Ridgedale
Redbud is a concert venue and recording studio opened by Brent Bill in a converted Ridgedale church. The 100-plus-year-old building underwent a major renovation, finishing in summer 2022 with a 200-plus-capacity performance area and nearly an acre of outdoor greenspace. The room has good acoustics, though sight lines to the stage are occasionally obstructed. Redbud books local and regional acts across genres and holds occasional open mics. A recording studio upstairs is also available for rehearsals. The outdoor grounds carry their own calendar: the wide lawn hosts live performances from local bands and has drawn block-party-style events tied to occasions like Record Store Day. Ridgedale itself draws younger homeowners, young professionals, and a notable number of artists and musicians, making Redbud a natural fit for the neighborhood's character.
