Sew Hop'd Brewery shares its home with Union Special, a manufacturer of industrial sewing machines whose history dates back to 1881, an unusual setting for Huntley's most consistent live-music spot. Open since 2019, the brewery brews small-batch craft beers and hosts live music every weekend alongside rotating food trucks. The taproom pours a range of styles from stouts to sours to IPAs, including Alt 140, a Düsseldorf-style Altbier that won a Gold Medal at the 2023 Great American Beer Festival. Acts on the calendar have included local performers such as Rumor Hazit, Cheryl Rodey, Tennessee Whiskey Chicago, and the Pino Farina Band. Beyond live music, the taproom also hosts comedy nights and trivia nights. Huntley's wider music calendar leans outdoor and seasonal: a Concerts on the Square series brings acts to Huntley Square on summer Tuesday evenings, and the annual Fall Fest is a three-day community celebration featuring multiple days of live entertainment and a beer garden.
