A suburb in the Chicago area
Justice is a small suburb about 30 miles outside of Chicago, and its live-music footprint reflects that scale. Davern's Tavern, one of the few bars in the area, often features live music alongside cornhole tournaments. Davern's Tavern and Lounge opened March 15, 2012, with an aim to bring entertainment to a town where the owners felt it was lacking. It operates as a sports bar on West 79th Street with a front bar, a large back party room, and a beer garden. The venue offers live music, open mic nights, and DJ sets alongside video gaming, pool, darts, bocce ball, and bags. The beer garden hosts live concert acts as well as outdoor yard games. Outdoor live music runs in the summer. For a small suburb, Davern's covers a lot of ground, functioning as the town's primary spot for any live entertainment.
