Silverton stands somewhat apart from Cincinnati's official neighborhood list, sitting northeast of downtown as its own small community. Its live-music footprint is modest but grounded in a genuine local history. The address now occupied by MVP Sports Bar & Grille on Plainfield Road is considered hallowed ground for Silverton's music scene, having previously housed Never on Sunday, a popular metal and hard-rock bar. Today, the main music venue is **HighGrain Taproom & Kitchen**. High Grain Brewery transformed the old Silverton Police building into a local hangout, featuring live music and a seasonal Oktoberfest. It is a solar-powered brewery and kitchen with a family-friendly focus on sustainability and a seasonally inspired food menu alongside its craft beers. Live music performances and beer release parties are part of its regular special events. Each June, Silverton's Taste of Silverton event also brings live music to the neighborhood alongside its local restaurant crawl.
