Hudson
Hudson is a small city where live music tends to happen in community and brewery settings rather than dedicated concert venues. The Hudson Bandstand has run free Sunday night concerts on the Gazebo Green since 1977, and Music from the Western Reserve holds a classical concert series at Christ Church Episcopal in downtown Hudson. For a bar-and-stage experience, Green Valley Brewing Co. is a family-owned craft brewery, taproom, and restaurant located a short stroll from the town center. Its 10-barrel brewing system turns out both classic and contemporary beers, and the food menu runs to wood-fired pizzas, pretzels, and sandwiches. The brewery books live acts on its grounds, with Americana, acoustic, blues, and folk acts among the genres that have played there. A large, fenced-in patio with sun sails makes it a natural outdoor music spot when the weather allows.
