Independence

Independence is a suburb just south of Cleveland with a modest dedicated live-music footprint. Its main venue is Club Impulse, also known as Impulse Lounge, located inside the Holiday Inn on Rockside Road. The club has featured live entertainment for over thirty years, with a focus on Cleveland's high-energy dance bands. Live entertainment runs on Fridays from 9 pm to 1 am, with DJ nights rounding out the rest of the week. There is free parking and no cover charge. Beyond the Impulse Lounge, the city runs a Summer Concert Series on Friday evenings at Town Square from June through July, giving residents an outdoor option during warmer months. For a wider range of original acts and genres, most residents look to neighboring Cleveland proper.
