Lorain
The Lorain Palace Theatre, built in 1928 and restored to its former glory, is Lorain's anchor live-music and performance venue. It presents a wide variety of events including concerts, plays, recitals, and private events. The theatre can seat over 1,000 people. Its concert bookings lean toward tribute and touring productions: recent and upcoming shows have included a Rush tribute, a Michael Jackson concert experience, and a Forever Motown Christmas celebration. The Palace hosts concerts across a wide range of genres. Beyond the Palace, Rockin' on the River is Northeast Ohio's longest-running and highest-attended outdoor concert series, held at Black River Landing in Lorain.
