Wadsworth is a Medina County city about 30 miles south of Cleveland with a modest but real live-music calendar spread across restaurants, a winery, and an outdoor patio circuit. Filia Cellars is a family-owned winery on Greenwich Road that features live music on weekends, pouring dry reds from California estate grapes alongside sweet wines made from locally sourced Ohio fruit. Set in a Victorian house, the venue opens its yard with picnic tables during summer months. Food trucks also appear alongside the music and wine tastings. Galaxy Restaurant at 201 Park Centre Drive bills itself as a premier entertainment complex and runs live music on its Sports Bar Patio, alongside upscale dining at the on-site Circle L Steakhouse. The patio calendar runs a range of local cover acts, including bands specializing in 90s alternative and rock, covering artists like Pearl Jam, Weezer, and Foo Fighters, as well as acts mixing pop, rock, and country. Solo acoustic performers covering classics from the 60s through today, with a lean toward 80s pop and rock, also fill the schedule.
