Allegan

Allegan's live-music calendar is anchored by two outdoor venues that draw well beyond the city limits. The Allegan County Fair has featured ticketed grandstand concerts since 1980, with past performers including Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Chris Stapleton. The fairgrounds leans toward rock, hard rock, and Christian and gospel bookings, and the 2026 fair runs September 11–19. John Schaendorf Dairy, a working farm on 28th Street, hosts Luke Bryan's annual Farm Tour, with the 2026 stop set for September 20, an open-air country concert with food, beverages, and on-site parking. The farm also hosted the 2023 Farm Tour stop. Beyond those two venues, Downtown Allegan runs "Music at Mahan," a free weekly Saturday night concert series in Mahan Park with two hours of live music starting at 7 p.m. The 2026 lineup includes classic rock, alt-americana, bluegrass, americana, country, and soul acts across summer Saturdays.
