Grand Haven
Grand Armory Brewing occupies a historic 1905 Armory building in downtown Grand Haven and is the city's most consistent live-music anchor. Live music runs Thursday through Saturday nights in the tap room, with a focus on local talent from the tri-cities area, giving newer artists a platform. The brewery also runs a recurring Vinyl Night where community members bring records matching a chosen theme. Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium hosts free summer concerts every Wednesday evening, June through August, as part of the Music on the Grand series. The outdoor riverfront setting draws crowds with lawn chairs for a relaxed listening experience. First Presbyterian Church runs a Community Artist Series that pulls in varied acts: the series has featured performers such as Acoustic Oasis, and the Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra has performed there as well. The Perugino String Quartet, a chamber ensemble rooted in Grand Rapids, has also appeared on the series. Lucy's appears among the top live-music spots in Grand Haven but specific booking details are limited.
