Egg Harbor is a Door County village on the Green Bay shoreline, and its live-music calendar leans heavily toward the formal and the seasonal. Birch Creek Music Performance Center is a summer music academy in the heart of Door County where students and faculty together present over 30 concerts in the historic Dutton Concert Barn. Nationally and internationally renowned professional musicians anchor programs in Percussion, Steel Pan and World Music, Symphony, and Big Band Jazz. Students are taught by nationally known performers during the day and perform alongside them in public concerts at night. A Fall Concert Series in September and October, plus annual Christmas and Valentine's Day concerts, keep the calendar running well past summer. Shipwrecked Brew Pub, Door County's oldest brewery, serves small-batch handcrafted ales alongside burgers, BBQ, and pub fare. It often features live music on its patio, adding a casual, informal counterpoint to Birch Creek's more structured programming.
