Noblesville
A city in the Indianapolis area
Noblesville anchors its live-music identity around two very different-sized venues. Ruoff Music Center is an outdoor amphitheater with 6,147 covered pavilion seats and 18,000 general-admission lawn spots, making it the largest outdoor music venue in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. It opened in 1989 along Sand Creek and is owned and operated by Live Nation, and has been named one of the top 100 outdoor venues in the world. Over more than 30 years it has hosted artists ranging from Frank Sinatra and Tom Petty to Metallica and Dave Matthews Band, many locals still call it by its original name, Deer Creek. Pollstar ranked it the world's top concert amphitheater by ticket sales in 2018. On a much smaller scale, Riverview Health Arena at Innovation Mile is an indoor arena with a capacity of 3,400 that opened in summer 2025. The arena also hosts live music and entertainment in addition to its sports programming. Federal Hill Commons draws open-air happenings, and the city also counts brewery taprooms, a neighborhood bar, and an arts organization among its smaller music spots, though specific booking details for those venues were not available.
