The Stable, at 105 E. State St., is Pendleton's anchor for live music. Owners Adam and Missy transformed this original wine bar on Pendleton Avenue into what the venue calls one of the top places for live entertainment in Madison County, drawing local and regional talent across country, rock, and styles in between. Shows typically run Friday and Saturday nights, with an open mic held on the third Wednesday of each month. The bar pairs its music calendar with craft beer, bourbon, whiskey, and cocktails, and the room also hosts trivia and bingo nights on non-music evenings. Beyond The Stable, Pendleton's live music turns largely seasonal and outdoor: the Pendleton Fall Creek Heritage Fair takes place at Falls Park and includes live music alongside vendors and food trucks, and Main Street events bring additional acts to town through the warmer months.
