McCordsville

McCordsville is a relatively young community that still relies on Indianapolis for much of its entertainment, but it has one notable live-music anchor of its own. Daniel's Vineyard is a full-production winery on 80 family-owned acres, the idea for which was born in the Tuscan foothills; over 14,000 grapevines were planted in 2010. The winery offers a portfolio of 15 wines and hosts live music on Friday and Saturday nights and Saturday and Sunday afternoons, with performances taking place inside or outside. Free live music runs on summer Fridays from 4–7 pm, followed by a ticketed summer concert series most Fridays from 7–10 pm. Saturdays bring two family-friendly sets: an afternoon show from 1–4 pm and a second band from 6–9 pm. The Friday concert series also extends to a second location, Back 9 Golf & Entertainment, running June through September. Acoustic acts are the norm. The patio at Daniel's Vineyard is the go-to spot for pairing a glass of wine with live music.
