Maryville

Brackins Blues Club has been a staple in downtown Maryville since 2002. It features some of East Tennessee's most popular local blues bands and puts on live music every Friday and Saturday night. Shows begin at 9 p.m. and admission is free. The Clayton Center for the Arts sits on the Maryville College campus, built through a partnership between the college and the cities of Maryville and Alcoa. The complex holds three performance spaces: the 1,200-seat Ronald and Lynda Nutt Theatre, the 250-seat Harold and Jean Lambert Recital Hall, and the 200-seat Haslam Family Flexible Theatre. The complex welcomes touring concerts, stand-up comedy, dance, theater, and community celebrations throughout the year. Together, the two venues cover a wide range of live-music experiences, from a free-admission neighborhood blues bar to a full-scale performing arts center booking regional and national touring acts.
