Antelope Valley
Antelope Valley's live-music scene runs through two connected spots along the Antelope Creek trail. The Hub Cafe sits next to the Antelope Creek trail at the Jayne Snyder Trails Center, and it puts music on the calendar with regularity: live music on Friday nights and open mic nights on the first and third Thursdays of each month. The open mics are co-presented with Roots Music Shop and run 5–8 p.m., welcoming local performers, musicians, and poets. The cafe also brings music to its weekly farmers market in the warmer months. Hub Cafe hosts a weekly farmers market every Wednesday, May through September, out of the Jayne Snyder Trails Center and adjoining Union Plaza, with a lineup of live, local musicians alongside local produce and food. Just steps away, the Jayne Snyder Trails Center provides space for public gatherings and the 200-person Dickson Dinsmore Graf Amphitheater. Located in Union Plaza Amphitheatre, the Hub & Soul concert series is a celebration of Lincoln's local musicians, local food, and local parks, taking place on the final Friday of June, July, August, and September from 6–9 p.m. Hub & Soul is a free community event designed for people of all ages and backgrounds.
