Belleville
Downtown Belleville has organized itself around several live-music venues, and two anchor the scene. Hop Garden Belleville Tap Room operates out of a restored 1917 historic garage at 107 W. Main St., pairing craft beer with live music and a patio overlooking Lake Belle View. The space seats up to 170 indoors and up to 200 on the outdoor patio, which includes a stage. Music leans toward local musicians, with dozens of acts booked through the warmer months. Seven Acre Dairy Company occupies a restored cheese factory on the Sugar River and offers dining, dairy, music, events, and a boutique hotel. Its outdoor concert space, called The Gathering Place, runs a dedicated summer series. The booking tends toward regional touring acts: recent shows have paired Wisconsin bluegrass bands, including Chicken Wire Empire, and Eventbrite listings also show The Cactus Blossoms and Horseshoes and Hand Grenades on the calendar. Beyond the two venues, Belleville holds a free Music Festival on the first Saturday in August, run alongside Ten Junk Mile's Badger Trail Races, and a Music in the Park series runs Tuesday evenings in summer at Library Park.
