McClellan Park
A neighborhood in Madison
McClellan Park sits on Madison's east side, east of Interstate 90. It's a primarily residential neighborhood, and its two music venues reflect that low-key character. The Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. Eastside, at 876 Jupiter Drive, is a branch of Madison's original brewpub, in operation since 1994. The Eastside location leans toward participatory programming: monthly karaoke nights on the last Saturday of the month, hosted by DJ Koehn of Badger Beats, and weekly Tuesday trivia nights. Twisted Grounds is a local café offering fresh, local fare in a gathering space for music, food, and community. Its signature programming is the "Under the Oak" concert series, held on weekends in the shady greenspace adjacent to the café. Shows are free admission and have included acts ranging from jug band and blues to classic rock cover sets. Upcoming shows continue into fall 2026.
