Pine Bluff sits about ten miles west of Madison, an unincorporated community in the town of Cross Plains, Dane County. Its live-music presence is anchored by a single spot: KurNiki's, a bar and restaurant on W. Mineral Point Road. Under current ownership since 2024, it took over as a longstanding neighborhood staple. Live bands play most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with a mix of classic rock, oldies, country, and decades sets. From May through September, KurNiki's runs Motor Nights, a weekly evening pairing live music with classic cars, custom builds, and motorcycles. For this small rural community, KurNiki's functions as both the local gathering place and the only consistent live-music option in the area.
