Enderis Park
Since 2005, the Enderis Park Neighborhood Association has hosted Concerts on the Green, a series that brings live music and food vendors to the neighborhood's public park playfield. Each summer the series runs four free Thursday night shows, from 6 to 9:30 p.m., kicking off in June and closing out in mid-August. The park sits at 2828 N. 72nd St., with food trucks, ice cream, and neighborhood vendors on site. Local radio station WMSE is a supporting sponsor of the series. Past performers have included local acts like The Gleasons and The Mosleys. The Enderis Playfield itself was built by the Works Progress Administration in the 1930s and serves as the cultural heart of the neighborhood. Outside of Concerts on the Green, Enderis Park has no permanent indoor music venues; this outdoor summer series is the neighborhood's sole live-music offering.
