Accompanied by guitar, drums, percussion, electronic beats, joined by a local DJ in each city, she brings renewed emotional and sonic depth to the songs that became part of a worldwide musical story. The performance highlights the album’s signature elements — iconic songs, understated arrangements, warm organic grooves, and her unmistakable whisper-soft vocal delivery — while allowing space for subtle reinterpretations and moments of improvisation. Born into one of Brazil’s most iconic musical families, Bebel was born in New York and raised in Brazil. She later returned to New York, where she developed her distinctive sound through collaborations with artists such as David Byrne, Caetano Veloso, and Thievery Corporation, helping shape her global career.
