City Winery Nashville Presents Emo Brunch feat. Jack the Underdog live on Saturday, December 5th at 12:00pm! For the third year in a row, Jack The Underdog and friends are back for another Emo Brunch, here in Nashville, TN. Enjoy performances of your favorite classic emo songs & Taylor Swift "swemo" songs over brunch, mimosas, and more. Full lineup coming soon! Fueled by social justice, pop punk artist/songwriter Jack The Underdog writes music for the misfits of society. Jack understands the battles of feeling unheard, & through the lyrics he writes, he aims to be a voice for the marginalized & misunderstood. Jack began his career writing songs for himself & high school band, Painting Stars, in his hometown of Saint Paul, MN. As his music began to grow, Jack felt led to Nashville, as he continued his music career at Belmont University. Since moving to Nashville, Jack has shared the stage with Hellogoodbye, Alex Garcia of Mayday Parade, The Story So Far, Millionaires, and more. Jack was formerly a member of the Riot House, an independent collective of artists that created mashups, covers, & social media content for the alternative scene. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Jack continues to represent the underdogs, finding ways to bring awareness to important social topics, looking to fill listeners of his music with positivity & a sense of belonging (& comes with a side of sarcasm). In addition to music, Jack also works full-time at a non-profit that works to prevent SV across the state of Tennessee. Jack first found success in 2023 with his original song "SAD TODAY" & swemo cover of Taylor Swift's "Back To December". Nowadays, Jack is pushing the boundaries of his sound and reintroducing himself through his alternative hyperpoppunk era with his brand new album, “jack.”.
