Formed in 2022, the Gina & Johnny Band is a powerhouse collective of top tier Cincinnati blues musicians, delivering soulful vocals, gritty guitar work, and deep groove driven performances. At the center is lead vocalist Gina McCann, whose commanding voice and dynamic stage presence captivate audiences from the first note. Her delivery draws comparisons to modern blues greats, while remaining entirely her own. Johnny Fink anchors the band with soulful guitar and compelling vocals. A proud member of the Northern Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, Johnny’s playing blends feel, fire, and authenticity. Rounding out the group are Mike Grosser on bass and vocals, a three time Northern Kentucky Music Hall of Fame inductee with nationwide touring experience, and veteran drummer Roger Bates, whose steady, expressive rhythms have supported countless blues artists over the years. The band earned national attention as semi finalists at the 2025 International Blues Challenge, and their debut album Free Your Soul, released in January 2025, has received worldwide airplay and critical acclaim.
