Heal The Hurt isn’t just a band name — it’s a declaration that music can still be used to heal, it’s a lifeline for anyone who’s ever felt alone in their pain. For frontman Trevor Tyson, that mission is deeply personal. After years of struggling with depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation — including hospitalization for severe burnout — he came to understand just how powerful music can be when words alone fall short. “Joyful music can feel like salt in the wound when you’re suffering,” Trevor shares. “But when someone meets you in your pain without making light of it — that can change everything. That’s what we want Heal The Hurt to be.” “We write for the ones who feel too broken to keep going,” Trevor says. “If these songs can help someone feel understood, or even just breathe a little easier for a moment — then we’ve done our job.” That philosophy comes to life in the band’s emotionally honest and sonically intense brand of metalcore. Their debut EP, released August 23, 2024, is a raw and unflinching collection of songs built to reflect real pain — and offer real hope. The lead track "Ruin” was featured in Revolver Magazine’s “6 Best Songs Right Now” the week of its release, cementing the band as one to watch in the heavy music scene. Before the EP, Heal The Hurt made waves with their Top 10 single “Stained Glass” — a haunting collaboration with HolyName that explored themes of disillusionment and spiritual struggle. That track laid the foundation for what would become the band’s identity: a place where faith and honesty collide, where healing is possible even in the wreckage. Heal The Hurt’s sound is shaped by influences like Linkin Park, Underoath, Spiritbox, August Burns Red, Memphis May Fire, Of Mice & Men, We Came As Romans, and Crown the Empire. Their early tracks were produced by Patrick Shekut of Convictions and feature creative contributions from Josh Sturm (Lacey Sturm), Michael Felker (Convictions), Joel Isler (Cliffside), Josh Bramlett (The Protest), Nick Gregory (AsFireFalls), and Stephen Stanley. In 2025, Heal The Hurt welcomed guitarist Brandon Marlowe and drummer Kevin Schmitz to join founding members Trevor Tyson and bassist/vocalist Alec Gregory, solidifying the band’s lineup. Since then, they’ve completed their first two tours alongside Convictions and The Protest, and are set to play festivals across the U.S. and internationally throughout the year.

It also reached over 100K streams on Spotify in its first week and landed a spot on the Sirius XM Octane Test Drive. Magdalene Rose accomplished a double release for her debut album The Heart That Bloomed After Death, produced by Jeff Dunn (known for his production credits with Knocked Loose, Ice Nine Kills, Disturbed, Wage War, Fit For A King) hosting an exclusive physical release on July 29th, followed by the full digital release on August 22nd. To celebrate its release, Magdalene Rose performed an album release concert live on her Twitch channel with over 1,000 viewers internationally. Her album opened with 1 million streams in its first week on Spotify alone, proving that her influence continues to grow. Magdalene Rose’s journey, however, is about more than just music. Formed late 2023 in North Texas, the band came together with a shared passion for pushing metalcore forward with the powerful truth and love of Jesus Christ. Combining crushing breakdowns with deeply personal lyrics, all directed for the glorification of our God. Their sound has a strong balance between aggression and melody, drawing influence from bands like Architects, The Devil Wears Prada, Convictions, Jamies Elsewhere, and many others. With their newest album “THRONES”, Unbroken Reign explores themes of resilience, struggle, and personal growth.
