She is the daughter of legendary Soul/Blues singer Syl Johnson and grew up outside Chicago. With a career spanning over two decades, Syleena is a household name. She currently cohosts alongside Vivica A. Fox, Lore’l, and Chanel Nicole Scott on the talk show “Crowned”, on the black-centered streaming platform In The Black Network. Her highly anticipated and latest album, Legacy, was released last year in honor of her late father’s legacy in the music industry.
