Peosta

Peosta is a small city in Dubuque County, Iowa, and an exurb of Dubuque. Its population nearly tripled between 2000 and 2020, and its live-music options reflect that still-developing character. Darkbird Taphouse is a taphouse and casual restaurant offering a rotating selection of craft beer, cocktails, and American pub fare, with indoor and outdoor seating and live music. The outdoor patio often features live acoustic cover songs in a relaxed setting. The venue books local and regional acts on a regular basis, with past performers including BJ McAndrew, the DR Band, and Sarah Boyle, as well as the Johnny Delaware Band.
