Uptown Collinsville bars keep live music going most any night of the week, and outdoor festivals like Italian Fest and the International Horseradish Festival add to the calendar. Sloan's Pub House, at 119 W. Main St., is a casual pub with darts, pool, and regular live-music performances. The bar pours 24 drafts and during Italian Fest each September, when Main Street closes for the weekend, Sloan's adds a DJ Friday and Saturday nights until 2 a.m. Longshots, which opened in June 2025 inside Fairmount Park Casino & Racing, is a country-western BBQ restaurant with a dedicated music stage and 150 seats indoors and out, all with clear sightlines to the horse track and winner's circle. Live music starts at 7 p.m. each night the venue is open. Fairmount Park itself is the only active horse-racing venue outside the Chicago area, giving Longshots a setting unlike any other live-music room in the St. Louis metro.
