Maplewood
A city in the Minneapolis & St. Paul area
Maplewood is a first-ring suburb just north of St. Paul, and its two live-music venues sit at opposite ends of the scale. Myth Live holds 3,200 people and is a concert venue and event center located just minutes north of downtown St. Paul. It most notably books heavy metal, rap, and some country, and its 2026-2027 calendar includes artists like Whitechapel, Tech N9ne, and Jowell & Randy. The floor is all-standing, with an upper level above. The venue sits near Maplewood Mall off I-694 and White Bear Ave, making it easy to reach from across the metro. The Dog House Bar and Grill holds around 300 and runs a much more neighborhood-bar schedule. Live music goes Friday through Sunday, with Sundays reserved for acoustic acts. The booking spans rock, country, and acoustic sets. Most weekend shows run $10 at the door, with special events priced separately, and weekend music nights are 21 and up.
