Prior Lake's live-music identity runs through two very different venues. Originally known as the Lakefront Jazz & Blues Festival, the Prior Lake Rotary Club's Lakefront Music Fest was established in 2010 and has grown into one of the largest outdoor music festivals in the metro area. In 2012, the Rotary Club expanded the festival to two nights: one devoted to country, the other to classic rock. The annual event is held at Lakefront Park and draws 20,000-plus people, with lineups that keep getting bigger. The 2026 edition features Keith Urban, Billy Idol, and Jefferson Starship. Proceeds benefit the Prior Lake Rotary Foundation. The other anchor is Mystic Lake Casino Hotel, where the Mystic Showroom books superstar country and pop performers, headlining comedians, and big-production Broadway musicals. The casino hosts a wide range of genres, having welcomed acts such as Larry the Cable Guy, Tracy Lawrence, Air Supply, and Black Label Society. Its 2026 schedule includes ZZ Top and Theo Lawrence, among others. The Mystic Showroom runs concerts year-round.
