Spivey Hall, on the campus of Clayton State University, is a 400-seat performing arts venue that has presented jazz and classical music to the metro Atlanta area since 1991. The hall is known for its exceptional acoustics, a pair of Hamburg Steinways, and a Ruffatti pipe organ. Frequent appearances on NPR's "Performance Today" have earned it a national reputation, and it has reached international audiences through coverage in publications such as BBC Music Magazine. Each season features an international roster of performers; the 2025-26 season opened with Grammy Award-winning violinist Gil Shaham performing Beethoven sonatas. Beyond its concert series, Spivey Hall runs education-outreach programs, including the award-winning Spivey Hall Children's Choir and the Spivey Hall Young Artists. For Morrow, Spivey Hall is the live-music anchor, drawing serious classical and jazz audiences from across the Atlanta region to a small-city campus setting.
