Chatham
Chatham's live-music calendar runs from bar-room sets to outdoor concert stages, with the annual Sweet Corn Festival serving as a community benchmark. The festival has long been the area's signature summer music event, drawing a rotating cast of Central Illinois bands and cover acts year after year. The area's biggest dedicated music draw is Danenberger Family Vineyards. Located just outside the village, DFV runs 25-plus live shows per season, mixing country, rock, and tribute acts on its outdoor Main Stage with national touring artists performing rain or shine. Past performers on its WineRocks stage have included tribute acts to The Doors and Creedence Clearwater Revival, as well as the band Everclear. At the bar end of the spectrum, Oogie and JJ's Bar on Palm Road books local and regional acts on weekends. Recent bookings have included acts like JackAsh, Not Petty, Blue Country Revue, and the Tom Beverly Band, typically in afternoon and evening slots.
