Brighton Park is a largely residential neighborhood on Chicago's Southwest Side. Its live-music options are limited, with Xavier's Club at 4456 S. Western Ave. serving as the neighborhood's main music spot. The Latino-owned venue blends a sports bar with a nightclub feel and is the closest thing Brighton Park has to a dedicated music destination. Live house music runs four nights a week, and the music on offer varies widely across the floors. Live DJs rock the dance floor on weekends, with pool tables, darts, and multiple screens rounding out the setup. The club has been in business for 25 years, making it one of the longer-running neighborhood bars in the area. Residents looking for larger or genre-specific live-music venues will need to look to neighboring communities.
