Hobart's anchor live-music venue is the Hobart Art Theater, open since 1940, which under ownership since 2019 has brought in acts like Omar Apollo and Riff Raff alongside comedians, with a 500-person capacity, VIP seating, and a full bar. The theater has been voted #1 for live entertainment in the region by The Times four years in a row. On Main Street, the End Zone Bar & Grill mixes sports-bar energy with live music events, and hosts karaoke on Thursdays along with DJ sets. Local metal bands also turn up at the End Zone for Friday-night shows. A few doors down, El Capitan Seafood and Mexican Grill offers live music during dinner, with sports on big screens as well.
