A suburb in the Chicago area
Hideaway Brew Garden is an outdoor venue across from Now Arena at 5510 Prairie Stone Parkway, and it anchors much of Hoffman Estates' regular live-music calendar. It runs live music Thursday through Sunday during summer, then scales back to Fridays and Saturdays through early October. Admission is free. Top genres at the venue lean toward rock and alternative folk, with cover and tribute acts filling most weekend slots. Neighborhood Inn Bar & Grill, known locally as "The Hood," carries a classic biker-bar feel with live music on weekends. It also hosts karaoke nights. The bar has served the community since 1977. Now Arena is the suburb's large-capacity anchor for touring acts: artists such as The Chicks and Evanescence are among those with upcoming dates there. The village's free Summer Sounds on the Green series adds outdoor Thursday-evening concerts at the Village Green nearby, covering rock, pop, soul, big band, and country.
