Lake Zurich
A suburb in the Chicago area
Lake Zurich's live-music options lean toward two distinct settings: an indoor distillery and an outdoor lakeside beer garden. Copper Fiddle Distillery is the town's only artisanal distillery, founded in 2012 by an architect and a PGA golf pro who turned their craft spirits into a full evening out. The distillery hosts live music every Friday and Saturday night, just feet from the aging barrels. It also offers tours, tastings, and private events, and open mic nights feature local musicians alongside the regular lineup. There is no cover charge to hear live music. Spirits include bourbons, rye whiskey, gins, rums, and vodka, all made from Midwest grain. Sunset Pavilion sits in Breezewald Park and operates as an outdoor restaurant and beer garden, serving craft beers, wines, small bites, and gelato. The venue hosts live music on a regular schedule, with multiple acts booked throughout the week during the warmer months. The village itself adds to the calendar with Rock the Block, an outdoor festival where three live bands take the stage in downtown Lake Zurich, and the Live at the Lake series, which brings ticketed performances to the Paulus Park Band Shell each summer.
