Romeoville
A suburb in the Chicago area
Romeoville's live-music scene leans toward free, outdoor, community-oriented events rather than ticketed club nights. McWethy's Tavern, located at Mistwood Golf Club, is a scratch-kitchen tavern and the suburb's main dedicated music venue. Each summer it runs a free outdoor concert series, transforming its courtyard into one of the area's go-to destinations for live music. The courtyard is open seating, attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, and concerts are open to the public. The village itself adds to the calendar. Rockin' the Ville, a free summer concert series, runs 11 Thursday-night shows at the Romeoville Toyota Pavilion behind Village Hall, covering classic rock, R&B, alternative, country, pop, and hip-hop. The annual RomeoFest has drawn national acts, with Everclear headlining the 2026 edition. For ticketed or year-round indoor club-style live music, residents generally look to neighboring Joliet or Bolingbrook.
