Lockport
A suburb in the Chicago area
Lockport's live-music options spread across several distinct settings in and around its historic downtown. ROXY Lockport is a historic landmark remodeled in 2017 to serve as an event venue while honoring its past as an entertainment space. Music is served in both a theater and an Art Deco-styled lounge, with programming that runs from classic big bands to smaller jazz and contemporary groups. 933 Speakeasy takes a Prohibition-era private-club approach, hosting live music every Friday and Saturday night, from soulful performances to intimate acoustic sets. It operates as a cocktail bar on the third floor of the Embers Tap House building. The Studio is a small live-music venue and bar in historic downtown Lockport, offering craft cocktails, wine, craft beer, and small plates. Coom's Corner Sports Grill is owned by former MLB All-Star and Cubs radio analyst Ron Coomer and books live entertainment alongside its food and drinks program. Paradise Bay Bar and Grill and Stagecoach Eatery & Saloon round out the seven venues on the local circuit.
