Cheviot
Cheviot is a small city on Cincinnati's West Side where live music surfaces mostly through community events and a handful of local spots along Harrison Avenue. The neighborhood's biggest music moments come annually: WestFest runs two stages, a MadTree Main Stage on Glenmore Ave. and a smaller stage on the Harrison Ave. side near Fogarty's Irish Pub. The Harvest Home Festival, known as "the biggest little fair in Ohio," also brings live music to the area over several days each fall. For indoor shows, The Westside Venue, on Harrison Ave., is a 140-capacity event space whose main bar area includes a stage, dance floor, and full bar. It accommodates live music performances alongside private bookings like birthday parties and wedding receptions. Cincinnati CityBeat lists rock and metal shows there, including acts like Never Sorry and a metal bill at the venue in late 2024. Notably, Legends Bar & Venue, a former live-music spot also on Harrison Ave., has closed.
