College Hill's live-music activity centers on two craft breweries along the Hamilton Avenue and Compton Road corridor. Brink Brewing Co., open since 2017 on Hamilton Avenue, is a microbrewery and taproom that has earned multiple gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival. The brewery regularly hosts live music on Friday nights and brings in food trucks on weekends. It also runs outdoor markets in its patio and parking lot, pairing music with food truck vendors. Fibonacci Brewing Company describes itself as the only nano-brewery in the country that is also an urban micro-farm. On Fridays and Saturdays it puts live music on its covered front porch and in its beer garden. The booking runs toward bluegrass, folk, acoustic, and singer-songwriter acts, mixing community musicians with touring artists, and admission is always free with no cover charge. Between the two spots, College Hill offers consistent weekend live music in low-key, brewery settings rather than a dedicated-stage concert scene.
