Highland Heights
Highland Heights is a Northern Kentucky city shaped largely by the presence of Northern Kentucky University, which opened in 1971. Its live-music options reflect that campus character, with both venues sitting on NKU grounds. Greaves Concert Hall, located within the NKU Fine Arts Center, seats 650 and is considered one of Northern Kentucky's premier performing facilities. It is equipped with professional lighting, recording equipment, and two 9-foot grand pianos. The annual Faculty Gala brings together NKU music professors who perform on regional, national, and international stages, with programming ranging from classical to contemporary. The Fine Arts Center hosts more than 100 events annually, drawing over 20,000 patrons each year. Truist Arena is a multi-purpose facility that hosts concerts, family shows, conventions, and sports, with a concert capacity of up to 9,400. It has hosted major acts including Jay-Z, Blake Shelton, and Bob Dylan. Concert bookings have spanned rock, rap, pop, and country.
