Owner Tim Shumrick has been in the Cincinnati wine business for 40 years and built Annata around an approachable, low-key atmosphere. Tuesday nights feature performances from local jazz band Gifted Groove, with plans to expand live music into other nights. Events pair live music with wine tastings and lite bites. The bar connects to a wine cellar next door, stocking around 400 wines, and guests can enjoy a glass at the bar or outside on the patio.
