Clintonville, running along North High Street north of the university district, spreads its live music across a genuinely mixed set of rooms. Columbus Mennonite Church anchors the folk end: the Columbus Folk Music Society's Americana and folk concert series runs an open jam at 6 p.m., open mic at 7 p.m., a community sing at 7:45 p.m., and a featured performer at 8 p.m., with a suggested door donation. Eldorado's Food & Spirits appears regularly on the city's live-music calendar with local bands on weekends. Brew-Stirs Clintonville Tavern, a North High Street dive, offers karaoke and live DJs every weekend alongside free pool and jukebox nights. Global Gallery Coffee House is one of the neighborhood's established independent coffee spots, with a reputation for acoustic programming.
