Far North Columbus

Far North Columbus is a quieter residential stretch well removed from the Short North and campus corridors, and Flint Station on Park Road is its lone dedicated live-music spot. The building dates to 1868 and has served, at various points, as a grocery store, dive bar, specialty store, carryout, and speakeasy. Today it operates as a bar and event space with a distinctly neighborhood character. Live music runs Thursday through Sunday from May through September, anchored by a beer garden with a large draft selection outside. An outdoor patio, outside bar, and an on-site food truck round out the setup. Beyond live music, weekly events include themed trivia and karaoke. The venue also draws those looking for affordable private-event space for smaller gatherings, and it fits the low-key, neighborhood-style profile of North Columbus rather than a formal event hall. For live music, Flint Station is essentially the whole story in this part of the city.
