Gahanna's live-music options cover a clear split: a longtime dive bar with near-nightly programming and a craft brewery with an outdoor stage. The Dolphin Lounge has been around since the 1970s and is known for blues and rock. The weekly schedule runs a Monday blues jam open to all players, an open stage on Tuesdays, live bands on Fridays and Saturdays, and karaoke on Wednesdays. The venue supplies a full PA with sound staffed in-house. Edison Brewing Company opened in the summer of 2020. It hosts live music alongside local food trucks and has a concrete stage built next to its patio. Founded around European-style craft beers, the brewery features a taproom and outdoor beer garden with views of the Columbus skyline. It aims to bring a biergarten feel with live music performances every week. Beyond the two permanent venues, the award-winning Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival, presented by Visit Gahanna, has celebrated over two decades of blues and jazz in Gahanna's Creekside District. The city also runs Creekside Live, a free outdoor concert series that draws crowds of 1,000 to 2,000 per show.
