Hilltop

The Hilltop sits west of Franklinton and Downtown Columbus and is one of the city's largest neighborhoods. Its live-music footprint is anchored almost entirely by one address: the Event Center at Hollywood Casino Columbus, on Georgesville Road. The arena seats 2,800 and requires guests to be 21 or older. The room draws a wide range of genres, with past bookings including rock acts Great White, Slaughter, and Hairball alongside comedians such as Deon Cole and Tiffany Haddish. The casino also runs a Hollywood Tribute Concert Series with a heavy lean toward '80s rock tributes, and the H Lounge books headline entertainment alongside local bands on a monthly basis. Outside that casino campus, the Hilltop has no significant dedicated live-music venues, so anyone coming specifically for live music is coming for the Hollywood Casino show.
